Look at my flowers!

I had a birthday recently and my family and friends gave me beautiful flowers.

Last September, Loes van Ruiter (I hope I have that correct) and her friend came from the Netherlands and stayed here. As they were leaving Loes presented me with some miniature Spring bulbs and a huge amaryllis bulb.

The amaryllis has seven wonderful crimson trumpets and another shoot is going to blossom too! The flowers light up the hall and everyone who visits remarks on their beauty.

What good timing, Loes!

I shall look forward to having these flowers for years to come....
